外交部指出，納丹曾任新加坡第6任總統，於星國公部門服務逾60年，在國家安全及外交等領域均曾擔任各項要職，如星國情報局局長、新加坡駐馬來西亞最高專員（High Commissioner to Malaysia）及新加坡駐美國大使等。1050823
